Artist Statement

Living in the liminal space between sculpture and lifeform, Abyss Bloom emerges from the transformation of flat surfaces into biomorphic form. Wire and nylon become organism—a beautiful and eerie specimen painted with iridescent pigments that mimic bioluminescence.

This piece reflects my exploration of the uncanny in nature, where imagination, process, and form collide to generate unfamiliar beauty.
