The Living Room
Project Overview
The Living Room was created for an assignment to design a creature, but instead I made the environment itself the living creature. The scene is inspired by deep sea and alien-like organisms and plants, but it is not underwater. The glowing, vibrant colors are drawn from bioluminescent life and surreal, otherworldly environments.
Everything in this print—the bulbous forms, tendrils, and pulsing shapes—is part of a single living system. The environment breathes and grows as one interconnected organism, blurring the line between landscape and creature. I wanted to capture the feeling of a world that is alive in every detail, where nothing is static and every surface is responsive.
This piece is about imagining new forms of life and consciousness, inspired by the mysteries of the deep sea and the possibilities of alien worlds. The colors and forms are meant to feel electric, vibrant, and a little unsettling—a living room that is truly alive.
